I stayed at this hotel during my trip to the Edinburgh Fringe. The room at the front had good double glazing, which minimized the noise, but could use some updating, especially the bathroom. The location is great, just a few minutes walk from the Royal Mile. The service was friendly and helpful, although some items were taken from the room. The dining experience was excellent, with efficient and friendly staff. However, the hotel tries to push you to buy their WiFi. Overall, it's a decent choice for exploring Edinburgh City.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean, just as I expected, and the bed was so cozy with nice pillows. The front location of the room, although a bit noisy, didn't spoil my overall experience. Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The room was tidy and had most of the expected facilities, but unfortunately, it had hair in the shower, and blood and crumbs on the bed sheets. However, the view of the busy street from the 1st-floor room was interesting, and the surprise of finding Kit Kats made my stay more enjoyable.
